I don't get it. I thought it was the E-class that was the joke.

Sorry but that´s nothing else than the B-Class as a Hydrogen testcar.... They are testing this car on the Nürburgring for a longer while, and if the photographer would have taken a closer look at the exhaust (just water coming out) and at the workshop where they are filling up that car (with hydrogen) he would have known that it is no mule for the B-Class.
BUT, the B-Class mules are driving around - under the body of the Dodge Caliber...

Interessant.
Why will they be tested under the body of a Caliber? Just for fun?

We are talking about serious car development, so they do nothing just for fun.
The next B-Class will look more like a Golf (no Mini Van anymore), so the mule body should be close to the size that the real car will be. And at the moment they have ALOT of those mule.

Yes we are talking about serious car development. A normal B-class as test mule would seem more normal to me.

As I said, they cannot use the B-Class as a mule, cause the new B body has nothing to do with the old B. It is as impossible as taking a Smart for a mule for the next VW Tiguan - cause it is a complete different concept.

That's how I want to see a B-class. Complete different.
